Makeup routines can feel deeply personal — they’re about how you feel put together, how your style evolves, and what makes you confident. I get asked all the time what products I use on a regular basis, so I decided to share an update on my current makeup lineup. This isn’t a rigid checklist I follow every single day, but rather a versatile rotation of products I reach for depending on the look I’m going for — from minimal and natural to a fully polished face.

Most of the products I love come from premium beauty brands because I’ve found their formulas work best with my skin and lifestyle. That said, I always appreciate great finds at all price points when they perform well.

Face — The Foundation of Every Look

Tinted Sunscreen

I start with a tinted mineral sunscreen every day, whether I’m wearing makeup or not. It offers high SPF protection, blends nicely without a white cast, and gives a touch of color that helps even out skin tone right off the bat. This step alone makes my skin look more polished before makeup even begins.

Foundation

For foundation, I reach for a luminous, long‑wearing formula that gives radiant coverage without feeling heavy. A little goes a long way, and I often mix two shades to perfectly match my skin — warmer for sunny days, lighter when I want a softer look. A smooth foundation brush helps ensure an even, natural finish.

Concealer

I use a creamy concealer in a shade that brightens without looking too stark. It’s ideal for hiding any under‑eye shadows or mild imperfections while still blending seamlessly into the foundation.

Setting Powder

To set everything in place and keep shine at bay, I use a translucent setting powder. On warmer days, I sometimes switch to a tone that better matches my sun‑kissed skin. This helps everything look cohesive and less chalky.

Blush

A touch of blush instantly brings life to the face. I prefer a shade that’s soft and natural — not too bright, not too dull — that can blend easily with the rest of my look.

Finishing Spray

While not every day, whenever I want extra makeup longevity or a softer finish, I spritz on a long‑wearing setting spray. It helps everything meld together without feeling heavy.

Eyes — Simple but Impactful

Eyelash Conditioner

Not technically makeup, but this step makes a huge difference in how my lashes appear. Regular conditioning keeps them looking longer and fuller — a subtle enhancement that adds up over time.

Eyeshadow

For everyday wear, I gravitate toward neutral shadows that enhance the eyes without overpowering them. A soft eye color that neutralizes discoloration can make lids look refreshed even without dramatic makeup.

Eyeliner

I like to define my eyes with a waterproof eyeliner that glides on smoothly. For the upper lid, I choose a rich black shade, and for the waterline, a deep tone that enhances definition. When I want a bolder look, I swap to a sleek liquid liner.

Mascara

Choosing the right mascara has a big impact. I tend to rotate between formulas that focus on length and separation and others that give more volume. Sometimes I’ll even combine two to balance thickness with definition.

Brows

Even with microblading, I still fill in my brows. A precise brow pencil with a built‑in spoolie makes it easy to shape and blend for a natural look. I always keep spares on hand because they tend to run out quickly!

Lips — Final Flourish

Lip Liner

I start by lining and lightly filling my lips to help color last longer and prevent feathering. A twist‑up liner is great for convenience, though some classic pencils hold lipstick a bit better.

Lip Color

I stick mostly with rosy, medium‑toned shades that flatter my features without being too bold. Hydrating sticks and lip oils are perfect for everyday wear, while deeper shades add a bit more polish for evening looks.

Gloss (Optional)

If a lipstick feels dry or I want extra shine, I’ll layer a lightweight gloss. Some days I skip it entirely — it just depends on the vibe I’m going for.

Why I Love This Routine

This lineup isn’t about using every product every day — it’s about having a selection of trusted favorites that help me feel confident and put together. Some items stay constant, while others rotate based on the season, how my skin feels, or the look I want to create.

Makeup isn’t just about looking polished; it becomes part of how you express your personal style and how you carry yourself. Whether you keep it minimal or go for a full face, finding what works for you makes all the difference.
